Ecumenical News - Time for Creation
It is not only Australian churches that are celebrating creation in September.  The World Council of Churches invites churches worldwide to become involved in the Time for Creation.  This year, the WCC is proposing to extend Time for Creation beyond St Francis Day until 10 October, to join the 101010 campaign with prayers, vigils and actions.  As 2010 is the International Year of Biodiversity, WCC especially encourages organizing prayers around this theme.  At the same time, churches are encouraged to pray for and with people in Africa, where biodiversity and human welfare are threatened alike by climate change.  For more information about Time for Creation, see the WCC website.
