International Rural Churches Association Conference - Your Comments Appreciated
The 4th quadrennial International Rural Churches Association conference takes place in Germany from the 20th to the 26th of September.  The theme of the conference is "Hunger - the Global Challenge", and the starting point is that the Church is uniquely placed to assist communities in coming to terms with both the primary issues of hunger and the secondary consequences.  The focus material for the conference comes from the International Assessment of Agricultural Knowledge, Science and Technology for Development (IAASTD) report "Agriculture at the Crossroads".  Ross Neville, Consultant for Rural Mission and Evangelism, will be attending the conference, and would appreciate your comments/input in relation to the IAASTD report.  Please contact him on rossneville02 at bigpond.com, or 6361 4224 by the end of August.  The summary and full report are available here.
