Walk Against Warming on Sunday 15th August

Walk Against Warming is Australia’s biggest community day of action on climate change.  There are walks planned across the country, including in Canberra, the far south coast, Port Macquarie, the Tweed Shire, Wagga Wagga, Wollongong, and various locations in Sydney.  The theme of the walk is "walk with the people - not the big polluters".  Join with people from all walks of life and stand up for urgent action on climate change.  Why not bring along friends, family and others grom your church?

If you are in Sydney, you might like to join with friends from the Australian Religious Response to Climate Change (ARRCC) and the Faith Ecology Network (FEN).  Look for their banners - meet at the rotunda in Belmore Park at midday.

See http://www.walkagainstwarming.org/ for details of a walk near you.
