A resource for primary school aged children.
"God, Me and the Environment" is a series of six lessons for primary school age children. It encourages children to regard different facets of the environment as parts of God’s creation to be respected and cherished as a divine gift. In doing so, it echoes the claim of Psalm 24 that “the earth and everything that is in it is the Lord’s”. The lessons have a practical, as well as a theological emphasis. They are designed to be used in situations ranging from the schoolroom and Scripture classes to smaller groups.
This resource was written by Lois Rees, with Roslyn Leal, Elizabeth Lilley, Annette Stilsby and Alison Whittle, under the guidance of Professor Barry Leal AM.
