Uniting Synod Climate Strategy

There is a climate crisis; indeed, a crisis for creation. The Synod-wide Climate Action Strategy came out of a decision at The Living Church – Synod 2019 to reduce carbon emissions across all councils and agencies of the Church and to advocate to Federal, State and local governments to take decisive steps to reduce our emissions nationally.

A group of Climate Action Strategy Task Groups have been developed to oversee development, implementation and monitoring of the climate change strategy, for a period of three years.
